Real Life Church · Building Campaign
The building is purchased. The plans are finished. One goal stands between Real Life Church and breaking ground at 1900 Del Paso Rd. This is the final stretch.
Where we stand
Real Life Church owns its future home: 42,000 square feet at 1900 Del Paso Rd. Renovation plans are complete and permits are in.
But construction can't begin until we show proof of funding for the full renovation, and that starts with reaching our $2.5M Make Room goal in gifts and two-year commitments. Every pledge moves us closer to breaking ground, and every month sooner is a month of ministry we don't lose.
“I will look favorably upon you, making you fertile and multiplying your people… You will have such a surplus of crops that you will need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest!”
Leviticus 26:9–10 · NLT
Our Vision
We see a place where people will come for hope and healing. Where every person, from every background, will be loved and accepted by Jesus, and by a Church committed to being His hands and feet in this city.
Why now
North Natomas is the crossroads of Sacramento's fastest housing growth: 120,000+ neighbors today, with nearly 18,500 new homes in the development pipeline. Young families. Thirty-something parents. Households from every nation. And few established churches ready to reach them.
The city can build the houses. Only the Church can make them a home. Make Room is Real Life Church getting ready before the harvest arrives, not after.
1900 Del Paso Rd · Our future home
Purchased March 31, 2025. A former gym becoming a house of hope, designed as flexible space for worship, discipleship, and serving our community all week long, and offered as a resource to pastors and churches across the region.
Real Life Church closed on 1900 Del Paso Rd.

The doors open wide to Natomas, and they stay open.
Together we can make room
Make room for the new harvest God is sending our way: thousands of new neighbors arriving in Natomas.
Make room for the brokenhearted, wounded, and oppressed to find hope and healing in Jesus.
Make room to launch ministers and missionaries who will impact our cities, our communities, and beyond.
More than a building
We're not remodeling a gym. We're preparing a place where, for generations and generations, the people of Sacramento will encounter the real God, find real freedom, and discover real life in Jesus. What we make room for now, our kids' kids will walk into.

Make a two-year Make Room commitment. Pledges count toward the $2.5M that unlocks construction financing.
Plant a seed with a one-time gift, or fulfill your existing pledge early. Every dollar in the door moves the timeline forward.
There is no right amount for you or your family. There is only your part. We believe God will reveal His heart for generosity as we seek Him.

Yes. Real Life Church officially became the owners of the new building on March 31, 2025. The purchase price was $6,500,000.
Construction can't begin until we show proof of funding for the full renovation. Reaching our $2.5M Make Room goal in gifts and two-year commitments puts us in position to work with nearly any lending institution and obtain that proof of funds, which is what releases the start of construction.
The estimated cost for the renovation project, not including A/V, is $5.5 million.
Once construction begins, and if there are no major hang-ups or budgetary surprises, we could foreseeably occupy our new home in late 2026, with a grand opening to follow. The sooner we reach the goal, the sooner we break ground.
1921 Arena Blvd is approximately 23,000 square feet; 1900 Del Paso Rd is 42,000 square feet. We expect the new auditorium to seat 600–800, compared to around 400 today.
DesCor Builders, the same team that renovated our 1921 Arena property in 2013, and a reputable church builder whose projects include The Father's House Vacaville, TFH Napa, and Jesus Culture.
Pray with us: the Upper Zoom meets Monday mornings at 7am and welcomes new prayer partners anytime. Serve with your time and talent to keep our ministry teams strong as we grow. And as we renovate and prepare to open, there will be many hands-on opportunities in the new building.
