Make Room: The Homestretch
A Word From Our Pastors
For years, God has been speaking to Real Life Church about our future.
Yet remarkably similar themes:
A new season. A new path. Greater capacity. Builders rising. Unexpected provision. People far from God coming home. And a courageous church willing to follow God into territory we have never occupied before.
How We Hold This
Prophetic words do not replace Scripture, and our faith does not rest on prophecy alone. We test everything by the Word of God and hold firmly to what is good, but prophetic encouragement can remind us of what God has been stirring in our hearts and invite us to respond again with faith.
As we enter the homestretch of the Make Room Initiative, these seven days are an invitation to pray together, believe together, give together, and prepare together.
This is about more than finishing a campaign. It is about preparing ourselves for the future God has called us to build.

We Declare That We Will Follow God Forward
The Promise
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”
Isaiah 43:18–19
“You have never been this way before.”
Joshua 3:4
The Prophetic Word
God is faithful in every season, but He never promised every season would look the same. Sometimes following God means leaving behind something that was good because God is leading us toward something new. Israel had never crossed the Jordan before. Joshua had never led the people this way before, but the unfamiliarity of the path did not mean God wasn’t leading.
Today We Declare
We will not become so attached to where God has been that we miss where God is going.
We honor yesterday.
We remember God’s faithfulness.
But we refuse to live in yesterday.
God is laying a new path before us.
We don’t need somebody else’s model.
We don’t need somebody else’s story.
We don’t need to reproduce what God has done somewhere else.
We want what God desires to do here.
We declare that Real Life Church will have the heart of a pioneer.
We will follow the presence of God into territory we have never occupied before.
When God moves, we will move.
When God speaks, we will listen.
When God opens a new path, we will have faith to walk it.
This is a new season, and we are ready to follow God forward.
Let’s Pray
Father, give us discernment to recognize what You are doing now. Keep us grateful for yesterday without allowing yesterday to limit tomorrow. Give us faith for unfamiliar territory and courage to follow Your presence wherever You lead. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Two
We Declare Expansion for the Harvest
The Promise
“Enlarge the place of your tent. Lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left.”
Isaiah 54:2–3
“Then God stirred the hearts to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.”
Ezra 1:5
The Prophetic Word
We don’t Make Room simply because we need more square footage. We Make Room because there are more people, more sons and daughters, more families, more people far from God, more people needing healing, community, discipleship, and the presence of Jesus.
Today We Declare
We are making room for the harvest.
We believe God can remove every unnecessary limitation that has restricted the assignment of this house.
We declare that the lid is coming off.
We will stretch our faith.
We will enlarge our capacity.
We will strengthen our stakes.
And God will stir willing hearts throughout this church to pray, serve, give, lead, and participate.
Expansion is not ultimately about a building.
It is about making room for people who have not yet come home.
Let’s Pray
Father, enlarge our capacity for the people You are sending. Stir our hearts as You stirred the hearts of Your people in Ezra’s day. Give us willing spirits and generous hearts. Help us build not for ourselves, but for generations we may never meet. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Three
We Declare That Legacy Is Being Built
The Promise
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
Psalm 127:1
“Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations.”
Isaiah 58:12
The Prophetic Word
There are moments when God allows one generation to build something another generation will inherit. That is legacy. Make Room is not merely about what we will experience. It is about what our children will inherit. What their children will inherit. And what people who haven’t even walked through our doors yet will one day call home.
Today We Declare
We are builders of a new history.
Cycles can be broken.
Family stories can change.
Wandering can end.
Generational dysfunction does not get the final word.
God can write a new story through surrendered people.
We declare that builders are rising in this house.
We refuse to spend our lives merely consuming what somebody else built.
We will build something worth handing to the next generation.
Lord, build through us what will outlive us.
Let’s Pray
Father, make us faithful builders. Give us the wisdom to build according to Your plans and the humility to remember that the house ultimately belongs to You. May our obedience today become someone else’s inheritance tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Four
We Declare Supernatural Provision
The Promise
“As soon as the command was spread abroad, the people of Israel gave in abundance.”
2 Chronicles 31:5
“Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord, we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left.”
2 Chronicles 31:10
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times you will abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8
The Prophetic Word
God’s provision is not limited to the methods we can predict. Elijah was fed by ravens, Israel gathered manna, Cyrus supplied resources for rebuilding, and in Hezekiah’s day, God’s people responded so generously that their offerings accumulated in heaps.
Today We Declare
Where God guides, God provides.
We declare that generosity will rise in this house.
God will stir willing hearts.
His people will respond freely, joyfully, and abundantly.
We will prepare wisely.
We will give generously.
We will steward faithfully.
And we will trust God completely.
God can use expected sources and unexpected sources.
He can send people we haven’t met.
He can open conversations we haven’t initiated.
He can create collaborations we haven’t imagined.
He can provide resources we could never manufacture.
And He can send the right people to help carry the weight.
The field may be too large for us to plow alone, but we will not plow alone.
Help is on the way.
God stirs hearts. His people respond generously. God supplies abundantly.
Let’s Pray
Father, You know exactly what is required for the assignment You have given us. Give us wisdom, generosity, and faith. Send the right resources, relationships, opportunities, and people. We trust You to provide what we need when we need it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Five
We Declare Grace for Realignment
The Promise
“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work.”
Ephesians 4:16
“The work is very spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall.”
Nehemiah 4:19
The Prophetic Word
Growth changes relationships. Growth changes responsibility. Growth requires more leaders. Sometimes people who once stood shoulder to shoulder eventually have to spread out along the wall because the assignment has grown. That doesn’t mean something is wrong. It may mean something is growing.
Today We Declare
We have grace for the realignment.
We will not confuse change with rejection.
We will not confuse distance with disconnection.
We will not build our identity around proximity, position, title, or recognition.
There is room on the wall for everyone.
We honor those who have carried the work faithfully.
And we welcome those God is raising up next.
We declare that God is sending trained help.
Experienced help.
Unexpected help.
Even wounded and overlooked people whom God restores and raises up for Kingdom purpose.
We release yesterday without dishonoring it so we can faithfully steward tomorrow.
God is aligning His people for His purpose.
Let’s Pray
Father, put every person where You desire them. Give us secure hearts, humble spirits, and open hands. Raise up leaders and strengthen those already serving. Send the help necessary for the harvest ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Six
We Declare a Harvest of People Far From God
The Promise
“Go out and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full.”
Luke 14:23
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”
Luke 19:10
The Prophetic Word
This is the heart behind Make Room. There are people who haven’t arrived yet. Some are successful but empty. Some are wounded. Some have been discarded by religion. Some don’t know how to spell the word Bible. Some have never imagined themselves walking into a church, but Jesus is looking for them.
Today We Declare
This house exists for people who are not here yet.
Sons and daughters are coming home.
People far from God are coming near.
The wounded are coming.
The skeptical are coming.
The overlooked are coming.
The addicted are coming.
The successful but empty are coming.
Families are coming.
Young people are coming.
And people whom others overlooked will discover that Jesus still sees purpose in them.
May they encounter more than a church service.
May they encounter Jesus.
May love be felt at the door.
May grace be heard from the platform.
May the presence and power of God fill the room.
And may people discover:
I am loved. There is grace for me. My life still has purpose. There is a place for me. I am home.
Let’s Pray
Jesus, give us Your heart for people far from You. Keep us from becoming a church that exists for ourselves. Prepare us for the harvest and give us the grace to love, disciple, restore, and empower the people You send. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Day Seven
We Declare Holy Boldness for the Future
The Promise
“We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
Numbers 13:30
“Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
Acts 4:31
The Prophetic Word
Every promise eventually presents a decision. Israel reached the edge of the Promised Land and twelve people saw the same giants. Ten concluded: “We can’t.” Two declared: “We are well able.” The difference wasn’t their circumstances. It was how they saw God.
Today We Declare
Fear will not determine our future.
The grasshoppers are leaving our thinking.
Discouragement will not define this house.
Tentativeness will not determine our obedience.
We declare a resurgence of courage.
Courage to reach people nobody else is reaching.
Courage to attempt what we have never attempted.
When God says move, we will move.
When God says stretch, we will stretch.
When God opens the door, we will walk through it.
God can give us strength, but He will not take our steps for us.
So we choose to step.
We contend in prayer.
We prepare with wisdom.
We move in unity.
We give with generosity.
We follow His presence.
And we declare:
We Are Well Able.
Not because of our strength.
Not because of our finances.
Not because of our strategy.
But because our God is well able.
Let’s Pray
Father, fill this house with holy boldness. Break discouragement, fear, hesitation, and small thinking from us. Give our leaders courage and our people faith. When You tell us to move, may we be ready to move together. We believe You can take us places we have never been before. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Final Word
For years, God has been preparing us.
A new season. A new path. A new history. Greater capacity. Unexpected provision. Fresh people. A coming harvest. And holy boldness for the future.
Now our responsibility is to respond. We cannot manufacture the promise, but we can prepare ourselves for it.
And we can courageously take the next step God places in front of us.
So throughout this homestretch, we declare:
God is leading us forward!
We are making room for the harvest!
We are builders of a new history!
We will have everything we need!
Help is on the way!
People far from God are coming home.
And we are well able because our God is well able.
Pray.Fast.Give.Build.Believe.Make Room.
The future is not something we are waiting for. It is something we are preparing for.
